The Registrar must keep information about limited partners secret and not share it with the public. You can think of the Registrar like a person who keeps track of important information. The Registrar is not allowed to make this information available to anyone.

The Official Information Act 1982 does not apply to information about limited partners. This means that the rules in the Official Information Act 1982 do not affect how the Registrar handles this information. The Registrar still has to keep it secret.

Limited partner information includes things like details about limited partners that are listed in certain sections of the law, such as section 52(1)(b), section 52(1)(e), section 57(1)(g), and section 59(1), as well as other information listed in section 76(2)(g) and (h). This information is all considered secret. You can find more details about what is included in these sections of the law.
