A local authority can give its chief executive officer or another officer the power to do things that the local authority is allowed to do under this Act. 132Delegation

  1. A local authority may delegate the exercise of functions, powers, or duties conferred by this Act on the local authority to—

  2. its chief executive officer; or
    1. any other specified officer of the local authority.
      1. A local authority must not delegate—

      2. the power to delegate; or
        1. a function, power, or duty conferred by subpart 2 of Part 1 or subpart 1 of Part 5.
