When you look at the Medicines Act 1981, you need to remember that some changes have been made to it. You can find these changes in the Act(s) that have been updated. If someone applied for permission under section 96G of the Medicines Act 1981 before this part of the law started, it will be treated as if this new law did not exist.

You should know that any permission granted under section 96C or section 96D of the Medicines Act 1981 for these applications will also be treated as if this new law did not exist. This means the permissions will still be valid even though the new law has been passed. The permissions are for things like germ-cell genetic procedures or cloning procedures.
