"What the Crown water services specialist does to help with water services in your area"

The Crown water services specialist is a person who helps with water services. You might see them do things like make a plan for how water services are delivered to your area. They can also tell your local council to use a certain plan, or to send a plan to the Secretary for approval, as stated in section 18.

They can assist your local council to put their plan into action, or give them advice on how to do it. The specialist can even direct your local council to follow the plan. They might do other things too, depending on what their job description says.

As part of their job, the Crown water services specialist can recommend to the Minister that they take more action, such as using powers under Part 10 of the LGA2002.
