Watercare Services Limited - Part 1 of Watercare charter

82: Process for finalising business plan

You could also call this:

"How the Secretary checks and finalises Watercare's business plan"

When a draft business plan is received under section 80, the Secretary has to review the plan. You will see the Secretary ask Watercare for more information about the plan, and they might also write comments about the plan to Watercare. The Secretary must tell Watercare how long they have to send in the final version of the plan.

The Secretary will talk to Auckland Council before writing comments about the plan to Watercare. They might also talk to other people they think are suitable.

Watercare has to send in the final version of the business plan after they give the Secretary any extra information they asked for, and after thinking about any comments the Secretary made. Watercare must make sure the final plan follows any rules in the Watercare charter. They have to send the final plan to the Secretary within the time frame the Secretary specified.
