National Parks Act 1980

Control of dogs

56A: Restrictions in relation to dogs

You could also call this:

"Dogs are usually not allowed in national parks"

You are not allowed to bring your dog into a national park. This rule applies to you if you own a dog or if you are looking after someone else's dog. The only times you can bring a dog into a national park are when this law or the park's own rules say it's okay. These special cases are rare, so most of the time, dogs are not allowed in national parks.
