National Parks Act 1980

Miscellaneous provisions

77: Approval under this Act not to authorise actions in contravention of other Acts

You could also call this:

"Approval from this Act doesn't let you break other laws"

If the Minister allows you to do something that would normally be against this Act, it doesn't mean you can break other laws. Even if you have permission under this Act, you still need to follow the rules in other important laws. These include laws about protecting native plants, wildlife, heritage, important objects, and controlling wild animals. You also need to follow any other laws and rules made by the government. Remember, getting approval for one thing doesn't let you ignore all the other rules that exist.
