National Parks Act 1980

Miscellaneous provisions

76: Records of title in respect of national parks

You could also call this:

"How national park land is officially recorded"

The Registrar-General of Land must create official records of title for national park land when asked by the Director-General. These records are made in the name of the Sovereign (the King or Queen) under the Land Transfer Act 2017. The Registrar-General might need to do some surveys first before making these records.

You don't have to register any leases or licences that are given out under this Act. This means if someone is allowed to use part of the national park land for a while, they don't have to officially record this permission.
