National Parks Act 1980

Miscellaneous provisions

74: Director-General may execute documents on behalf of the Crown

You could also call this:

"The Director-General can sign important papers for the government"

The Director-General can sign documents for the Crown or the Minister for this Act. When the Director-General signs these documents, they are just as valid as if the Crown or the Minister had signed them themselves. This rule applies unless the Act says something different. This makes it easier for important documents to be signed without always needing the Crown or Minister to do it personally.
