When you are part of an interdepartmental venture in the public service, the board of the venture can appoint employees to the public service if they think it is necessary. The board can choose employees who are on fixed-term employment agreements. You can be removed from your job at any time, but this must follow the conditions in your employment agreement. The board has the same rights and duties as your employer, unless this Act says otherwise. You can find more information about this by looking at the Public Service Act 2020 and comparing it to the 1988 legislation.
