Public Service Act 2020

People working in public service - Public service chief executives, system leaders, and public service leadership team - Public service chief executives

55: Working arrangements between functional chief executives and host departments

You could also call this:

"Agreeing on how to work together: functional chief executives and host departments"

When a functional chief executive works with a host department, they must agree on working arrangements with the host department's chief executive. You need to know that the Commissioner also has to agree to these arrangements. The Commissioner and the two chief executives must all be in agreement for the working arrangements to be in place, you can find more information about this by looking at the Public Service Act 1988.
