129Offences in relation to investigations

  1. A person commits an offence if they, without reasonable excuse,—

  2. hinder, obstruct, or delay an investigator in carrying out an investigation under this subpart; or
    1. contravene a requirement of a notice given under section 127; or
      1. refuse to answer any question put to them under section 127 or to take an oath or make an affirmation when required to do so under that section.
        1. A person who commits an offence against this section is liable on conviction,—

        2. in the case of an individual, to a fine not exceeding $100,000:
          1. in any other case, to a fine not exceeding $2,500,000.
