When you register a covered bond programme, it is official at the time the Bank adds the details to the register. You can still enforce your rights related to the programme or any covered bonds, even if there was a mistake in the registration process. The Bank's records show when the registration happens.

If the person in charge of the programme, called the issuer, fails to register it or follow the rules in section 416, you can still enforce your rights. This means you are protected, even if the issuer makes a mistake. Your rights related to the programme or covered bonds are still valid.
