An infringement notice must have certain information in it. You need to know what the alleged offence is, including when and where it happened, and what the offence is. The notice must also tell you how much you have to pay, where to pay it, and when you have to pay it by. It must include the address of the Bank and a summary of what section 21(10) of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 says.

The notice must tell you that you can ask for a hearing and what will happen if you do not pay the fee or ask for a hearing. It must also include any other information that the regulations say it has to have. You should be able to understand what is happening and what you can do about it from the information in the notice.

The notice is a formal document that tells you about the alleged offence and what you have to do next.
