The Governor-General can make rules with the chief coroner. These rules can say how associate coroners do their jobs. The rules must follow certain laws, like section 117A(2) and (3). You can find out more about these rules in the Legislation Act 2019. The Governor-General makes these rules with the chief coroner. These rules are like secondary laws. The rules say what associate coroners can and cannot do. They help associate coroners do their jobs properly. The rules are made to help the law work better.
