This page is about a bill. That means that it's not the law yet, but some people want it to be the law. It could change quickly, and some of the information is just a draft.

24H: Withdrawal of substantive application

You can stop your request for approvals in a substantive application at any time before the panel makes a recommendation. To do this, you need to write a notice to some people.

You must send the notice to the EPA. If you’ve already asked for help from the chief executive, you need to tell them too. If you’ve already invited people to give comments about your application, you need to let those people know as well.

After you send your notice to the EPA, they will tell the panel that you’ve stopped your application as soon as they can.
