“EPA asks for a special report about big projects”

If a project listed in Part A is sent to the fast-track approvals process, the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) must ask the agency in charge to write a report. This report needs to follow the rules set out in section 19A(2) to (4), but it doesn’t need to include the information mentioned in section 19A(2)(j) and (k).

The agency in charge has to give this report to the EPA within 10 working days after they get the request. This means they have two weeks to write and send the report.
