Fast-track Approvals Act 2024

Fast-track approvals process - Panel consideration of substantive application - Steps by panel convener after receiving substantive application from EPA

52: Panel convener provides information to panel

You could also call this:

“Panel leader gives important project information to the decision-making team”

After a panel is set up to look at a big application, the person in charge of the panel (called the panel convener) must give the panel some important information. This information includes the application itself and a report about the project. If there’s another report about the project, the panel convener must give that too. The panel convener also needs to give the panel any other information they think the panel will need to make decisions about the approvals asked for in the application. Lastly, the panel convener must give the panel a notice about the project. All of this information helps the panel understand and make decisions about the application.
