33Distribution of code of residents' rights

  1. The operator must ensure that a copy of the code of residents' rights is—

  2. given to each intending resident before the person enters into an occupation right agreement; and
    1. given to a resident (or his or her nominated representative) on request.
      1. A resident is entitled to bring any alleged breach of a right referred to in the code of residents' rights to the attention of 1 or more of the following:

      2. the operator of the retirement village:
        1. the statutory supervisor of the retirement village (if there is one):
          1. the Registrar:
            1. the Retirement Commissioner:
              1. a disputes panel, in the manner provided in Part 4.
                1. Subsection (2) does not limit the ability of a resident to bring any alleged breach of a right referred to in the code of residents' rights to the attention of any other person.
