60Composition of disputes panel
The operator must appoint 1 or more independent persons to form the disputes panel.
The operator must consult the other parties to the dispute before making an appointment.
A person must not be appointed a member of a disputes panel unless that person's name appears on the Retirement Commissioner's list under section 58(1).
In the case of a dispute referred to in section 53(3),—
- the operator must appoint at least 3 members to the panel; and
- one of the members must be a retired Judge or have held a practising certificate as a barrister or solicitor for at least 7 years; and
- the person referred to in paragraph (b) must chair the panel.
