Trade Marks Act 2002

Legal proceedings - Criminal proceedings - Offences and penalties

124: Offence to import or sell, etc, goods with falsely applied registered trade mark

You could also call this:

"It's illegal to bring, sell, or have goods with fake trade marks for business"

You are not allowed to bring into New Zealand, sell, or keep goods that you know have a fake registered trade mark on them. This applies if you're doing it for business reasons. It's against the law to bring these goods into the country if you plan to sell them or use them to make other things. You also can't sell these goods or put them out for sale. Lastly, you're not allowed to have these goods in your possession if you plan to use them for business or to make other things. If you do any of these things, you're breaking the law.
