The Governor-General can make rules to change what flavours are allowed in notifiable products. You can find more information about this in section 67(2) and section 69A(3) or 69B(3). The Governor-General can also make rules about how retailers sell notifiable products with flavours.

The Governor-General can make rules about how to describe notifiable products. You can find more information about this in Part 1 of Schedule 2 and Part 2 of Schedule 2. The Governor-General can also declare a product to be notifiable.

These rules are secondary legislation, which means they are made under an Act of Parliament, you can learn more about this in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019.
