When you are in charge of a place and an enforcement officer uses their power under section 93, they must tell you they are an enforcement officer. If you ask, they must show you their identity or proof they are an enforcement officer, or both. You have the right to ask for this information when an enforcement officer is doing their job. The enforcement officer has to follow these rules to make sure you know who they are and why they are there.

When an enforcement officer uses their power under section 94 with you, they must identify themselves as an enforcement officer. If you ask, they must show you their identity or proof they are an enforcement officer, or both. This helps you know the enforcement officer is who they say they are.
