TAB New Zealand - Betting licences

68: Issue of betting licences

You could also call this:

“TAB NZ gives racing clubs permission to hold betting races”

After racing dates, allocations, and conditions have been decided, TAB NZ will give betting licences to racing clubs that have been given dates. These licences will be given out as soon as possible.

Each betting licence will tell you:

  • The name of the racing club
  • The name of the racecourse where the betting races will happen
  • The date when the betting races can be held
  • Any other rules that the dates committee thinks are important

If a racing club is getting more than one betting licence, TAB NZ can put all of them on one piece of paper.
