Racing Industry Act 2020

Offshore betting charges and other matters - Offshore betting charges - General provisions

119: Maximum amount of penalties

You could also call this:

“The most money you can be fined for breaking racing betting rules”

You need to know about the most money that can be charged as a penalty for some rules in racing. There are two types of penalties, and the amount depends on who broke the rules.

If the person who broke the rules is just one person betting from another country, they can be charged up to $20,000 New Zealand dollars.

If it’s a company from another country that broke the rules, they can be charged up to $50,000 New Zealand dollars.

These penalties are the most that can be charged for breaking certain rules about betting in the racing industry.
