Racing Industry Act 2020

Racing - Dissolution of racing clubs no longer racing

36: Racing club no longer racing may be dissolved

You could also call this:

“Inactive racing clubs can be closed down by their racing code”

If a racing code decides that a racing club is no longer racing, they can take steps to dissolve the club. The racing code can tell the Registrar that the club isn’t operating anymore. They can ask the Registrar to dissolve the club or remove it from the register, depending on what kind of organisation it is. When the Registrar gets this notification, they must officially dissolve the club or remove it from the register. This process helps to close down racing clubs that are no longer active.
