When you are involved in a court case under the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003, there are rules about what can be made public. These rules are the same as those in sections 11B to 11D of the Family Court Act 1980. They apply to cases in the Family Court and other courts.

If your case is in a court other than the Family Court, the rules still apply but you replace the words "Family Court" with the name of the court you are in. 130Publication of reports of proceedings

  1. Sections 11B to 11D of the Family Court Act 1980 apply to the publication of a report of any proceedings under this Act—

  2. in the Family Court:
    1. in any other court, in which case references in those sections to the Family Court or court must be read as references to that other court.
