Illustration for Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003

If you are a victim, you must be told about decisions made under section 65. The care manager will tell you about these decisions. They will advise you if a care recipient is allowed to be on leave under section 65(1) and any rules they must follow.

You will be told about these decisions if you were notified under section 65A or if you made a submission under section 65C(2). The care manager will tell you if the care recipient is allowed to be on leave and what rules they must follow while on leave.

The care manager might not tell you about every rule if they think it would interfere with someone else's privacy.
