278: Uttering false certificates

This section of the law, called ‘Uttering false certificates’, used to be part of the Crimes Act 1961. It was in a part of the law that dealt with arson, damage, and waste. However, this section no longer exists. It was removed from the law on 1 October 2003. The government made this change through another law called the Crimes Amendment Act 2003.
