“This rule explains how you can question or challenge the charges brought against you in court.”
You can no longer object to an indictment. This part of the law was removed on 1 July 2013. An indictment is a formal document that lists the charges against someone in a criminal case. Before this change, you might have been able to raise issues with the indictment, but now that option is not available under this section of the Crimes Act 1961.
