118Commissioner may act in proceedings on behalf of the Crown

  1. All actions and proceedings by or on behalf of the Crown in connection with any breach of contract or any trespass or any damage accruing by reason of trespass or for the recovery of any rent, purchase money, or other money in respect of any reserve or in respect of any damages or wrongs suffered by the Crown in respect of any reserve shall be commenced, prosecuted, and carried on by the Commissioner on behalf of the Crown, and the Commissioner may be plaintiff or defendant, as the case may require, in any such action or proceeding.
