"Removing animals and vehicles from reserves when told to do so"

Illustration for Reserves Act 1977

If you own an animal or are in charge of it, you must remove it from a reserve if the Minister, the Commissioner, or an administering body tells you to. You will get a notice telling you to do this. If you do not remove the animal, you might get in trouble.

If you are driving a vehicle, flying an aircraft, or in charge of a boat that is in a reserve when it should not be, you must remove it when an officer tells you to. The officer is defined in section 93(5). You must do what the officer says to avoid problems.

If you do not follow these rules, you will commit an infringement offence, which means you have broken the law and might face penalties.
