If you are an airport authority, this Act does not stop you from using powers given to you by the Airport Authorities Act 1966 for land that is a reserve for aerodrome purposes. You can use these powers for any reserve that is vested in you as a local purpose reserve for aerodrome purposes. This means you can make decisions about the land.

If you are an airport authority or an airport operator, you can grant a lease of land that is a local purpose reserve for aerodrome purposes. You can also use powers given to you by the Airport Authorities Act 1966 or the Civil Aviation Act 2023 for this land. This allows you to make decisions about the reserve.
