Illustration for Reserves Act 1977

If you are a member of a board that manages a reserve, you are not personally responsible for things that happen because of something the board does or does not do, as long as you are acting in good faith. You are also not personally responsible for any debts the board lawfully incurs. This means you will not have to pay for something the board does wrong if you were trying to do the right thing.
