Illustration for Reserves Act 1977

If you are leasing or licensing a reserve, the group in charge of it can change the amount of rent you pay. They can do this at any time while you are leasing or licensing the reserve, and they can reduce the rent for the rest of the time you are using it. The group in charge can also talk to you about any rent you still owe them, even after you have stopped leasing or licensing the reserve, and they can come to an agreement with you about how much you will pay. You can find more information about these changes in the Reserves Amendment Act 1996.
