If you decide to take back your declaration. You can do this using Section 58.

If your situation changes and you tell the Commissioner about it. You need to do this following Section 59(1) and (3).

If your situation changes and the Commissioner tells you about it. They will do this following Section 59(2) and (3).

When Section 57 stops applying to you, two things happen:

You will now have a repayment code of ‘SL’ or ‘TTC’ on your income.

Sections 34 to 37 and 40 now apply to you. These sections have rules about repaying your student loan.
