Student Loan Scheme Act 2011

Interest, relief, penalties and offences, rights of objection, and rights to challenge - Borrower's right to object to loan manager about details of loan advances

168: Loan manager must consider objections

You could also call this:

“The loan manager checks your objection and tells you and the Commissioner what they decide”

When you make an objection about your student loan, the loan manager must look at it carefully. This is something they have to do by law.

After the loan manager has thought about your objection, they need to do two things as soon as they can. First, they will write to you to tell you what they have decided. In their letter, they will explain why they made that decision.

Second, the loan manager will also tell the Commissioner about their decision. The Commissioner is another important person who deals with student loans. The loan manager and the Commissioner have a special way of sharing this information with each other.
