If you're a borrower and your contact person can no longer act in that role because they have died, become incapacitated, or for any other reason, you must choose a new contact person. This new person must live in New Zealand. You need to follow the same process for nominating a contact person as described in section 107A(2) of this law.

If any of your contact person's details change, you need to tell the Commissioner about these changes right away. This helps make sure that the Commissioner always has the most up-to-date information about your contact person.
