Student Loan Scheme Act 2011

Matters of general application and miscellaneous matters - Matters of general application

201: Loan advances and other information may be altered

You could also call this:

“Changes can be made to your student loan information to keep it correct”

If there are changes to your student loan information, the Commissioner must update it as soon as possible. This includes changing details about loan advances you’ve received. The Commissioner will make these changes based on decisions made by different people or groups. These could be the loan manager, the chief executive, a Referee of the Disputes Tribunal, or a District Court Judge. They will follow the rules set out in different sections of the law.

The Commissioner can also change other information about your loan, not just the loan advances. They can do this if they decide it’s necessary, following the rules in another part of the law.

These changes are made to keep your loan information accurate and up-to-date. It’s important that the information you see about your loan is correct.
