"What to do if you think too much money was taken for your student loan"

If you think too much money has been taken from you for your student loan, you can ask the government to check. You need to do this within 6 months of when you think the mistake happened. When you ask, you need to tell the government why you think too much was taken and give them any information they need to check. You have to let the government know about this in a specific way, which is explained in another part of the law called section 211.
