35Right to medical treatment

  1. A resident is entitled to medical treatment and other health care appropriate to his or her condition.

  2. The standard of health care that is available to residents must be reasonably equivalent to the standard of health care available to the public.

  3. The manager must ensure that—

  4. an adequate record of the care or treatment provided to a resident is maintained; and
    1. full medical records (including dental records) of residents or former residents are kept securely; and
      1. the medical record of any resident or former resident is kept separate from other information relating to the resident.
