29Right to legal advice
A resident is entitled to obtain legal advice on his or her status as a resident and on any other relevant legal question.
A residence manager must, so far as is reasonably practicable and consistent with the safety and security of the residence,—
- ensure that a resident is provided with adequate facilities to prepare for legal proceedings to which the resident is a party; and
- facilitate contact between the resident and any person (other than another resident) who provides advice or other assistance to help the resident prepare for those proceedings.
