The chief executive must ask the court to review a protective supervision order within 5 years of it being made. They must then ask for another review within 5 years of the first review, and after that, they must ask for a review at least every 10 years. The chief executive can also ask for a review at any other time if they want to.

When the chief executive asks for a review, they must tell all the victims of the person with the protective supervision order as soon as possible. You are considered a victim if you were affected by the person's actions. The chief executive has to let you know that they have asked for a review of the order.

The court will then look at the protective supervision order again to decide what to do next.
