Illustration for Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Act 2014

If you have been given a sentence of preventive detention, this Act does not change that. The court decided on this sentence using the Sentencing Act 2002. When the court was deciding, they did not consider the rules in this Act about orders for offenders who have finished their sentences.
