Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017

Contracts legislation - Contractual remedies - Power of court to grant relief

48: Persons who may apply

You could also call this:

“Who can ask for help with contract problems”

You can ask for relief under section 43 if you are part of a contract, if you have a claim through someone who is part of a contract, or if it’s important for you to know if relief will be given. Relief means help from the court when there’s a problem with a contract. You don’t have to be directly involved in the contract to ask for this help. Even if you’re not part of the contract, you can still ask for relief if knowing about it matters to you.
