53: Proceeding before Disputes Tribunal

You could also call this:

“The Disputes Tribunal can still use its special powers when you take a case to them”

If you take a case to the Disputes Tribunal, sections 50 to 52 of this law don’t stop the Tribunal from using its powers. These powers come from section 18(7) of the Disputes Tribunal Act 1988. This means the Tribunal can still do its job even if those other sections might seem to limit what it can do.
