Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017

Other commercial matters - Power for shipowner to enter and land goods, and lien for freight

328: Owner who is ready and offers to land or take delivery of goods

You could also call this:

“Ship owner must let you take your stuff if you're ready”

If you own goods that are being transported by ship, and the ship hasn’t unloaded them yet, you have some important rights. If you’re ready to take your goods off the ship and you tell the ship’s crew that you want to do this, they have to let you. Also, if you want to make a record (called an entry) about your goods, this is more important than any record the ship’s owner might make about your goods. This means your information about your goods is the one that matters most.
