Legislation Act 2019

Interpretation and application of legislation - Exercise of powers in legislation generally

46: Power to do things may be exercised to correct errors

You could also call this:

"You can use your power to fix mistakes or things you missed the first time."

If you have the power to do something, you can use that power to fix a mistake or something that was missed the first time. You can do this even if you are not normally allowed to use the power more than once. This means you can correct an error or omission that happened when you used the power before, as seen in similar legislation such as the one found at s 13 of 1999 No 85.
