The PCO can publish official electronic versions of legislation and official printed versions of legislation. You can trust that these versions are correct. If a printed version is made directly from an official electronic version, it is also an official version.

An official version of legislation can be electronic or printed, and it must be identified as official according to the rules made under this Act. You should treat a document as an official version unless you find out it is not correct.

You can find more information about this by looking at the Legislation Act 1986 for comparison, which is available on the legislation website.
