"What special words mean in this part of the law"

In this part of the law, you will see some special words that have specific meanings. When you see the word deadline, it refers to a specific date that depends on when the legislation was made. If the legislation was made between 1 January and 30 June, the deadline is 30 June the following year.

If the legislation was made between 1 July and 31 December, the deadline is 31 December the following year. You will also see the term unconfirmed legislation, which means legislation that has not been confirmed by the deadline. This is important because it helps you understand what happens to legislation if it is not confirmed on time.
